Our professional groomers/stylists have the experience and holistic knowledge necessary to keep your pet’s skin healthy and coat gleaming from puppyhood or kittenhood and all the way to elderhood. Our unique self-wash service is also available in the pet spa. Make it easy on yourself and your pet at bath time with our user-friendly equipment and gentle, natural shampoos. In today's market it is difficult to sift through the various opinions out there as to what is appropriate to feed your dogs and cats. In order to assist consumers navigate these tumultuous times, our staff has undergone professional training in Pet Nutrition and Raw Food feeding and earned their Pet Nutrition Specialist status. Some of our staff has also enrolled in or completed a Certified Pet Dietitian program, the first of its kind! Who We Are & Why We Care
Store owner Scott Jackelen and Manager Joe Hoey are pet lovers who care as much about your pets as they do their own. They also care about the earth and in their shop offer green products and green business practices. Add to that their impressive career backgrounds and friendly, family-loving personalities and you have the perfect team!
Seeing an opportunity to bring superior pet health to Northwest Arkansas, Scott left a successful career as an executive with a world class consumer products company and over 25 years of cross-industry expertise in IT, retail, and other areas of expertise. He realized that opening a Earthwise Pet franchise to serve Bentonville and Northwest Arkansas was the perfect way for him to pursue his passion and have a positive impact on others. Delivering unparalleled service is Scott’s highest priority, which he defines as “treating everyone and their pets as I would want and expect to be treated.” He started practicing that Golden Rule as a small boy of four when he had his first pet, a dog named Snoopy.
Joe taught high school social studies and coached baseball for several years in West Virginia and Florida, offering interactions with the community he will always cherish. In 2015 he switched to a career in staffing and human resources that led to promotions and a wide range of responsibilities, including staffing employees, sales and service, project management and a high level of customer service. In 2018, he and his family decided to move “back home” to Arkansas, his wife’s native state. When he and Scott met through business connections in Northwest Arkansas, they discussed potential opportunities for working together to develop the Earthwise brand. Joe’s education background combined with high-level customer service and a heart for furry friends keep him focused on what’s important: keeping people and pets happy and healthy through quality products and exceptional service. With Joe, minding what’s important all started with his first pet, a Yorkie named Poco. Joe defines unparalleled service, “My goal is to listen to your needs/concerns and help answer questions and guide you to the best possible solution. We intend to “over-service” our customers by being friendly and caring. We won’t talk at you but to you.”
